Caitríona's radio play The Little Penpal, won gold at the New York Festivals International Radio Awards in 2018.

 

Her original show Eating Seals and Seagulls' Eggsher first with her own production company Little Wolf -  was described as a play of 'national interest. Mesmerising from start to finsh.',  Arena RTÉ1. For further information on this production, please visit the Little Wolf page.

 

Her show Transmission, premiered at the Dublin Fringe in 2020 was described in The Irish Times as "a rallying cry for the preservation of the live event'.

 

Caitríona’s first radio play, Momento Mori was runner up in the PJ O’Connor Awards 2013 and her second An Chanáil was short-listed in 2014.

 

Caitríona is a published children’s author, writing for Cló Iar-Chonnachta, Cló Mhuigh Eo and O’Brien Press. Her books for children have been very well received. She has won awards in the Oireachtas and her first book in the Rósmáire Trilogy, Ó Lúibíní Lú, was nominated for a Glen Dimplex Award. 

 

Caitriona is currently writing for television.
